My alma mater, SMK Anderson, would always be in my heart. This is one of the best and most renowned school in the nation. Although I have graduated from this school, I will always make effort to visit it whenever I have the respite. There were many bumpy rides and momentous times throughout my course of study here.

Anderson High School was officially opened on 6th in February 1909. The name "Anderson" is named after the British High Commissioner in Malaya at the time, (the Governor of the Straits Settlements), Sir John Anderson. Anderson School was established to provide opportunities for students who were unable to enter into Royal Malay College Kuala Kangsar. For reasons of religious affiliation, the Malay parents refused to send their children to English schools that were available, such as Anglo-Chinese School and St.Michael School.
Lt. Col. J. H, Tyte, Senior Assistant at the Victoria Institution was appointed as the first headmaster. He is assisted by Mr. E. C. Smith who is a senior assistant. Master pilot consists of a trained teacher and five students aged SMK Victoria. The first school building was designed by local craftsmen, namely Mr. C. H. La Brooy and is located on Douglas Road. The building is now used as the Office of Religious Research.
Last but not least, I guess have no choice to put this in - To Strive To Seek To Find and Not to Yield ( The motto we all Andersonians hold on to)
